Chinese National Issued Lookout Circular In Mobile Loan App Scam Case
In a mobile loan app scam case, a Chinese national has been issued a lookout circular. Bureau of Immigration (BOI), the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Odisha police, issued a lookout circular against Liu Yi, on July 13. Yi, the main accused in a mobile loan app scam case, has been booked under various sections of IPC and Section 66D of IT Act.

Supreme Court Stays Suit Proceedings Challenging IT Rules Before High Courts
Supreme Court has stayed all the suits pending before High Courts across the country challenging the IT rules, on May 9. Petitions challenging Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethnics Code) Rules and the Cable TV Network (Amendment) Rules will be on hold till May 19. However, the interim orders passed in petitions challenging the said rules will not be affected.

IT Act Still In Operation; SC Issues Notice To Stop Its Usage
The Supreme Court was shocked after knowing that people are still booked under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, despite it being knocked down and termed as illegal six years ago. The apex court has issued notice to all the states, union territories, and registrar generals of all HCs for using the IT Act of 2000. Reportedly, even after being termed as unconstitutional, there were around 1,307 cases under it.

Govt Issues "Last Notice" To Twitter Over Compliance Of New IT Rules

50 Lakh Users Recognised Under 'Significant Social Media Intermediary'

SBI Officials Complain Rs 75 Lakh Siphoned-off From 28 ATMs In Rajasthan
State Bank of India authorities on February 3 filed a complaint after discovering that Rs 74.95 lakh were siphoned-off from 28 ATMs in Rajasthan's Barmer between November 22-January 5.
