London Based Engineer Becomes World's 1st Man To Get 3D Printed Eye
Steve Verze (47), an engineer from east London's Hackney, became the world's first person to get a 3D printed eye, said Moorfields Eye Hospital in London on November 25. The eye looks realistic than other alternatives as the eye is developed after digitally scanning the eye socket. Reportedly, It also reduces the development time to around 2-3 hours from 6 weeks. ''This new eye looks fantastic,'' said Verze.

Britain Warns Against New Corona Virus Variant Found In South Africa

United Kingdom Records 32,322 New COVID-19 Cases In Last 24 Hours
The United Kingdom recorded 32,322 new Coronavirus cases with 57 Covid-19 related deaths, taking the death toll to 1,41,862, according to the UK Security Agency. While infections have fallen by 16.6 percent, the government reported an increase in the number of deaths by 8.2 percent in the country. National Health Service Executive, Amanda Pritchard urged people to get their jabs as Covid and flu can be a "threat" in winter.

Chef Damodaran Awarded With Lifetime Achievement Award In London
Chef Kothandaraman Damodaran, aka chef Damu, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award on November 8. Passenger Gives Birth Mid-Air; Traveling From London To Kochi
Following the birth of a baby mid-flight, the Air India flight from London to Kochi with 203 passengers was diverted to Frankfurt on October 7. The lady's preterm birth was assisted by two physicians and four nurses on board. Later, Air India confirmed that the woman delivered a healthy baby and both are doing well.
