Nitin Gadkari Promises US-Like Roads If BJP Retains Power: UP 2022 Polls
Ahead of the UP election in 2022, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on December 26, announced Central Government's invest of Rs 5 lakh crore for roads. He said, UP roads will be like America in the next five years, if the BJP voted in power again. Gadkari said, Vote for a double engine government in the upcoming elections. The statement was made during foundation stone event, at Jagdishpur.

Tesla Shouldn't Sell Made In China EVs In India, Says Nitin Gadkari
While speaking at a media Conclave, Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on October 8 said he has asked Tesla ''don't sell electric cars in India'' which is manufactured in China by it. However, he also said the government would provide all the support if Tesla would manufacture its iconic electric vehicles in India. Besides, Gadkari informed everyone we are considering Tesla's demand for a reduction in taxes.
