70-Year-Old Goes Viral For Completing 100 Meter Dash In 13.47 Seconds
American athlete Michael Kish (70) surprised netizens and went viral for finishing 100 meter Dash in just 13.47 seconds. From the beginning, Kish separated himself from other athletes and grabbed an early lead. The clip had 1.9 million views. With this, Michael is the second one to have such a record, as America's Bobby Whilden was the first to complete the 100-meter dash in 12.77 seconds in the 2005.

Rapper Snoop Dogg Booked For Sexual Assault
Snoop Dogg is sued for sexual assault and battery by a woman and alleged that the rapper assaulted her in 2013. However, his spokesperson called the allegations as a meritless "shakedown." The lawsuit is filed days before Snoop Dogg is set to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show. The victim is identified as 'Jane Doe' and described as a model and actress who had worked with Snoop Dogg.

Natural Immunity Overpowered Vaccines During Delta Wave In USA: Study
People who were unvaccinated but survived COVID-19 were better protected than those who were vaccinated and not previously infected, suggested a Study. The analysis was also carried out during the Delta variant infection among 1 million people, who tested positive in New York and California, between May 30 to November 30, 2021. The unvaccinated people are at higher risk compared to vaccinated people, said the authors of the research.

US Reports 9.5 Million Cases Of COVID-19 In Children: Report
USA has reported nearly 9.5 million cases of Coronavirus in children since the onset of the pandemic, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association. As of January 13, over 9,452,491 cases were reported in children. Notably, 1.7% to 4.4% of children were hospitalized and 0 to 0.26% died due to COVID-19. However, the overall rate of cases among children is 12,559 cases per 100,000 children.

Joe Biden administration in the United States (US) has imposed tight travel rules, in view of Omicron, the new Covid-19 variant. Starting from December 6, all international in bound travelers need to take a Covid-19 test (24 hours prior to journey) and a strict mask rule has been imposed, to fight Omicron. Fuel Prices Likely To Drop As Centre Decides To Release Crude Oil From Its Reserves
The Centre has agreed to release 50 lakh barrels of crude oil from its Strategic Petroleum Reserves, which might lead to a further decline in gasoline prices in the coming days. Covid-19 Patient Surprises Doctors By Waking Up From Coma: US
Bettina Lerman, a 69-year old woman contracted the COVID-19 virus in early September and was put on the ventilator on 21 September. She later went into a coma. However, she surprised the doctors by waking up from a coma on the day when they were supposed to remove the ventilator. Reportedly, Bettina belonging to America's Florida was also suffering from other health conditions like diabetes and heart problems.
