Reliance To Acquire Local Search Engine Justdial

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries (RIL) is in talks to acquire the local search engine Justdial for a whopping Rs 5,920 to Rs 6,660 crore. The deal will help Reliance to leverage the 25-year-old local search engine’s merchant database. In a board meeting to be held on July 16, Justdial will “evaluate” its fundraising plan. The promoters are said to hold a 35.5% stake in the company.

Gautam Adani Becomes 2nd Richest Asian With $67Bn Net Worth

Adani Group's owner Gautam Adani, with a net worth of $67 billion, has surpassed China's Zhong Shanshan ($63.6Bn) to become the second-richest Asian. With the feat, Adani has now bagged the 16th place globally, four behind richest Asian Mukesh Ambani ($76.5Bn). According to Bloomberg's report, Adani's rise began in 2020 since stocks of all his six companies rose, taking the market capitalisation from $20 billion to $115 billion.

Reliance Industries Acquires British's Stroke Park, For $79 Million 

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited has acquired British's Stoke Park for a whopping deal of USD 79 million. In a regulatory filed on April 22, Reliance stated that the firm owning a golf course and a hotel will enhance the hospitality and customer services of the company. Reliance Extends Help To Indore, To Provide 100 Tonnes Oxygen Daily

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries on April 17 extended its help to Madhya Pradesh's worst-hit city Indore by providing 60 tonnes of medical oxygen. The company sent the oxygen tankers from its Gujarat's Jamnagar plant, and has assured of supplying 100 tonnes of oxygen to Indore every day. Thanking RIL, BJP Indore chief Tulsi Silavat stated it "will be extremely useful for the city." Earlier, Reliance had sent oxygen to Maharashtra.

Maharashtra: Reliance to Supply 100 Tons of Oxygen to COVID-19 Hospitals

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has started supplying Oxygen from its refinery in Gujarat's Jamnagar to Covid-19 hospitals in the state of Maharashtra. Following an "oxygen scarcity" caused by the increase in Covid-19 cases, Maharashtra will receive 100 tons of oxygen from RIL at no cost. The company is diverting oxygen streams meant for petroleum coke gasification units, after making it suitable for medical use.
