World Number one Novak Djokovic has announced his withdrawal from the Paris Masters tennis event to be held in November. He stated that it would not add points to his tally. The player took the decision with an aim to remain first in the rankings, to break Roger Federer's record for most weeks as the ATP world number one. Reportedly, Djokovic will be playing Vienna Open and ATP Finals in London.

Novak Djokovic on October 7 entered the French Open semi-finals after beating Pablo Carreno Busta 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. Djokovic overcame a bothersome left arm to defeat Carreno Busta. Djokovic said, "I didn't feel great coming into the court for the match but as the match went on, I felt better, didn't feel as much pain." He will face Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals. 

World number one Novak Djokovic has advanced to the third round in the French Open after a straightforward win against Lithuanian Ricardas Berankis by 6-1, 6-2, 6-2. This marks his 70th victory in the event. "I had fewer drop shots than the first match but I served very well today,'' Djokovic said. Djokovic will be facing Daniel Elahi Galan in next round.

Novac Djokovic won his fifth Italian Open title after defeating Diego Schwartzman 7-5, 6-3 which was held in Foro Italico. The Serbian managed to win the game after a slow start against Schwartzman.
