Indian Railways Reveals Earning Profit Of Rs 2,800 Crores Revising Norms
Indian Railways has earned an additional revenue of more than Rs 2,800 crore from child travellers in the last seven years by revising child travel fare norms, an RTI response has found. The response from the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) under the Right to Information (RTI) Act further indicates that the financial year of 2022-23 alone earned Rs 560 crore, amid amended norms.

Zomato Revenue Increased To 20 Million, First Ever Quarterly Profit
India's Zomato reported its first quarterly profit on Thursday, helped by a tax gain and strong orders on its food delivery and quick commerce platforms. The company reported a profit of 20 million rupees ($241,861.37) for the quarter ended June 30. Zomato, which also runs grocery delivery service Blinkit, said consolidated revenue from operations rose 70.9% to 24.16 billion rupees in the first quarter.

Disney CEO Announces Layoffs, Fires 7,000 Employees

Mahindra Increases Profit By 427% To INR 1,292 Cr For Fiscal Quarter March 2022
Mahindra & Mahindra announced 427% increase in its standalone profit (after exceptional items) to INR 1,292 crore for quarter ending March 2022 on May 28. In previous fiscal quarter, the firm posted PAT of INR 245 crore. As per the corporation, its automotive division has over 170,000 total open reservations, with XUV7OO leading the way with 78,000 open bookings. Board of directors declared a dividend of INR 11.55 per share.

Profit For Indian Railway Finance Corporation Increases By 37.90% In 2021-22
The external financing arm of Indian Railways, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited (IRFC), reported a 37.90% increase in profit after tax to Rs 6,090 crore in 2021-22 on May 20. The company's profit after tax for the previous fiscal year was 4,416 crore. As of March 31, 2022, the company's assets under management were €4,15,238 crore, representing a 15.32% increase.

Nykaa Reports 58% Fall In Profit, Revenue UP By 36%
Iconic fashion brand and e-shopping site Nykaa recorded a plunge in profit. On February 9, the company released Q-3 FY and reported 58% down profit to Rs 29 crore revenue. Although the revenue was increased by 36%, the overall profit income decreased from the previous Rs 68.88 crore profit. In addition, the revenue till December 2021 increased by Rs 1,098.39 crore from the previous Rs 807.96 crores.
