SC Asks Haryana, UP To Pass Over Minor's Death Case Files To CBI
SC bench comprising Justice CT Ravikumar and Justice Ajay Rastogi has told the Haryana and Uttar Pradesh governments to hand over the case files pertaining to the death of a minor to the CBI. The apex court gave the direction while hearing a plea filed by the victim's mother against a High Court order. The Punjab and Haryana HC had earlier rejected her plea for transfer of case.

High Court Stays Haryana Law On 75% Job Quota In Private Sector
The Punjab and Haryana High Court stayed the Haryana law providing 75% reservation in industries to youngsters, with the domicile of the state, on February 3. Petition Filed Against IIM Rohtak's Director; Failed To Present Degree
A petition has been filed against the Centre's decision to appoint Dheeraj Sharma as the Director of IIM Rohtak in Punjab & Haryana High Court. Reports suggest that the Education Minister had written him twice to present his undergrad degree before the ministry, to which he still hasn't replied. The Centre urged the court to dismiss the plea considering the petitioners had no locus-standi.
