Delhi Police Uses Face Recognition To Catch R-Day Violence Miscreants

The Delhi Police is using facial recognition method to identify people who were involved in the violence at the R-Day tractor parade and raided Red Fort. Identifying over 250 suspects, the police have arrested 19 people and detained over 200 after registering 33 FIRs till now. Besides, the police also used voter ID cards and driving licenses to corner over two dozen people linked with vandalism and hoisting religious flag at the Red Fort.

Around 200 Detained & 300 Policemen Injured After Tractor Rally Violence

Delhi: Govt Suspends Internet Services Following 'Tractor Rally' Violence

The Union Home Ministry has ordered the suspension of internet services in the areas of Singhu, Tikri, Ghazipur, Mukarba Chowk and Nangloi.
