The Government of India is likely to introduce a resolution, renaming India as Bharat. The decision came after the official invite to the G20 Heads of State and ministers for a dinner being hosted by President by Droupadi Murmu with the heading President of Bharat. The BJP-led Central Government will hold a special session, to pass a resolution for India to rename as Bharat, to avoid I.N.D.I.A. alliance confusion.

The Kerala Government passed a resolution in the Assembly session, urging the BJP-led Government to rename the South Indian state as Keralam.
