PM Narendra Modi addressed the 2023 Investor's Summit, organised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. During his speech, the PM invited delegated from various countries and appraised the development of UP, under the leadership of Yogi Aditynath led BJP-Government. "Only a few years ago, Uttar Pradesh was known as a BIMARU state. Nobody had any hope from the state. But now Uttar Pradesh stands for good governance and development," said Modi.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to name two leopard cubs at Gorakhpur zoo, and will also let a white tigress into the main enclosure of the zoo. Reportedly, the white tigress Geeta, was brought in around two and a half months ago, and the move comes amid the ongoing wildlife week celebrations at the zoo. The CM’s program is scheduled on October 5, and all preparations are underway.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued flood alerts across ten districts, following an increase in the water level of Kuano river at Chandradeep ghat. Flood alerts have been issued to Gonda, Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Deoria, Mau, Ballia and Ayodhya. He further gave instructions to the district magistrates and Superintendents of Police to take precautionary measures.

Six people died in a tragic fire incident that occurred at Hotel Levana in Hazratganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on September 5.  As many as 20 unconscious guests, staff and many others received injuries and underwent treatment. The Chambal flood has been a calamity for the Gohra hamlet in Agra's Bah tehsil, where 100 buildings have been wiped away. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, dispatched a team of three ministers to examine the flooding situation. The villagers are surviving on higher ground in the river's ravines, famished in the lack of food and with no cover to shelter them from the sun's scorching beams.
