Scientists, Historians Join Hands To Recreate Ancient European Smells

To recreate the aromas present in Europe between 16th and early 20th century, a team of researchers has announced a three-year project. The team comprising scientists and historians from across the Europe and UK is planning to develop an online encyclopedia of the European aromas. The 2.8 million euro project, named "Odeuropa", will use Artificial Intelligence to describe odours in historical texts and spot aromatic items within pictures.

14 IIT-BHU Scientists Among Top 2% Of Globally Renowned Brains

In a recently declared list of top 2% of globally renowned scientists, at least 14 researchers hailed from the IIT-Banaras Hindu University. The list, compiled by the US' Stanford University, had 1,59,683 persons including 1,500 Indian scientists and doctors.
