Delhi Records Lowest Temperature Of This Winter Season
Delhi recorded a temperature of 3.2 degrees Celsius on December 20. It's the lowest temperature for this 'winter season', reported UNI. However, the IMD issued a 'yellow alert' (severely bad weather) in the National Capital, stating cold waves will continue along with drizzling on December 24 and 25. Reportedly, the morning temperature is recorded at 3° and it is expected to go upto 19°.

Karnataka To Receive Widespread Rainfall Over Next 4 Days: IMD
Karnataka is expected to receive widespread rainfall over the next four days, said Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on November 18. Orange alerts have been issued in Bengaluru and Ghats in the South interior parts of the state. IMD also issued a yellow alert in some districts of coastal Karnataka and north-interior Karnataka. ''Rainfall will start decreasing on the fifth day,'' said Sadananda Adiga, Meteorologist, IMD Bengaluru.

IMD Issues Orange Alert In Kerala's 6 Cities, Yellow Alert In 8 Districts
Indian Meteorological Department issued an ''orange alert'' in six districts and ''yellow alert'' in eight districts on November 13 in Kerala. The six districts include Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, and Idukki. IMD Issues Orange Alert For Delhi & Warns Against Waterlogging
The meteorological department issued an orange alert in Delhi and also warned against the possibility of heavy rainfall, waterlogging, and disruption of traffic on September 22. Moreover, the IMD also issued a yellow alert for September 23, 25, 26. While a green alert has been issued for September 24. Notably, IMD's Safdarjung Observatory has recorded 1161.1 mm of rainfall this season than 1,156.6 mm of rainfall in 1975.

Kerala Expects Heavy Rainfall; IMD Issues Orange, Yellow Alert
Expecting heavy rainfall in the Kerala region, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued 'yellow' as well as 'orange' alert on June 15 & 16. Several districts in the state such as Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasargod districts have been issued an orange alert. However, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Alapuzha, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad districts have been alerted for yellow.
