UP CM Announces 48 Hours Free Bus Rides For Women On Raksha Bandhan
UP CM Yogi Adityanath has announced 48 hours of free bus ride to all women in the state, on the occasion of R.aksha Bandhan. From August 10 midnight to August 12 midnight, all UP state transport corporation buses are free for women. Raksha Bandhan is scheduled to be celebrated on August 11 across India, and earlier, the state of Haryana also announced free bus rides for women.

Petrol Pump Manager Shot Dead After Trying To Stop Miscreants From Stealing Diesel: Uttar Pradesh
Sushil Kumar, a petrol pump manager in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, has been allegedly shot dead while he tried to stop miscreants from stealing diesel. Reportedly, the accused were stealing diesel from a parked truck on the National Highway 24. Upon noticing a suspicious activity, Kumar and his two co-workers tried to stop it. The miscreants fled in their car after opening fire.

Lulu Mall Files FIR Against Unidentified Persons For Offering Namaz Inside Premises
Management of the newly-opened Lulu mall in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, filed an FIR after some peopled offered namaz inside the premises. Reportedly, the FIR was filed against unidentified persons for "obstructing visitors", at Sushant Golf City police station, on July 14. UP CM Yogi Adityanath's chopper made an emergency landing in Varanasi following a bird hit, on June 26. Reportedly, the chopper was in transit from Reserve Police Lines in Varanasi to Lucknow. Following the incident, CM Adityanath returned to the circuit house and will travel Lucknow by a state-run plane. Reportedly, he has visited Varanasi to review the law and order situation and the development works.
