ISRO Rejects Nepotism Claims, Says Recruitment Followed Due Process
ISRO's Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre in Thiruvananthapuram's Valiamala has reiterated that appointment of its chairman K Sivan's son Sidharth S was done through due process. Earlier on February 13, the Central Vigilance Commission received a complaint over alleged irregularities and nepotism in Sidharth's hiring process. However, without mentioning Sidharth's name, LPSC has assured that the recruitment process complied with all necessary screening norms. LPSC is responsible for design and development of propulsion systems for space-crafts.
