Patanjali's Coronil Is Not Approved By Drug Regulator, Claims IMA
The Indian Medical Association on March 19 stated that Patanjali’s immunity booster ‘Coronil’ has not been granted any regulatory approval by the drug regulator in India. The association stated that it had filed a query under the Right to Information Act, responding to which the regulator informed about issuing "no certificate or permission for the use of Coronil for treatment of COVID-19". Moreover, the association also demanded to follow appropriate protocol for COVID-19 treatment.
