Bandhavgarh National Park Wildfire Doused Off; No Animal Casualties
Madhya Pradesh forest officials on March 31 confirmed that they have doused off the wildfire in Bandhavgarh National Park. As per the officials, the fire that broke out on March 29 was extinguished by the fire tenders from Pali, Chandiya and Umariya. Bandhavgarh field director Vincent Rahim affirmed that no animals were harmed in the 'not natural' wildfire. While the fire also reached Tala zone, known for tigers, Vincent claimed that “grasslands are intact".
