Indian Govt To Summon Social Media Platforms For Anti-Competitive Practices
Amid anti-competitive practices by social media platforms, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance conducted a meeting and decided to summon social media platforms. On April 28, the committee said, representatives of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Amazon, Flipkart, and Microsoft are likely to be summoned. The decision came after Tesla CEO Elon Musk took over Twitter. Notably, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) presented a brief report to the panel.
