IndiGo Director Rakesh Gangwal Resigns With Immediate Effect

IndiGo director Rakesh Gangwal stepped down from his position, on February 18. The global aviation company took announced resignation of his non-independent, non-executive director Gangwal with immediate effect. In a letter to the aviation company, Rakesh also mentioned to reduce his equity shares (37%) slowly in the next five years, paving way for new investors to enjoy benefits of the company. He further expressed concerns over optics of reducing stakes.
