Vodafone Idea Plans To Raise Funds Worth Rs 500 Cr
Vodafone Idea Board of Directors to discuss a proposal to raise funds of up to Rs 500 crore on June 22. The proposal entails granting preferred stock or convertible warrants to one or more Vodafone Group entities. Trading window for dealing in shares of the company will remain closed for 48 hours after Board meeting ends until June 24 for all authorized personnel. Trading window to reopen on June 25.

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Exits As Twitter Board Of Directors
Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced to step down from the Twitter Board of Directors. The announcement came on May 25, after the annual shareholder meeting. With Dorsey's exit from the Board of Directors, he is no more a part of the microblogging-site, which is now owned by Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Notably, the talk of Jack's exit was in place since he stepped down as Twitter CEO in 2021.

Twitter Offers Elon Musk Seat In Board Of Directors; Musk Declines
Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal said that the company's leading stakeholder Elon Musk, will not join the board of directors. Tesla CEO Musk, who also own the most stake in Twitter, was expected to officially be inducted into the board on April 9. However, Musk decided to take things differently. According to Agrawal, the board offered Musk a seat, hoping that he's the "path forward".

Alia Zafar Becomes The First Female Director of Pakistan Cricket Board
Human resources executive Alia Zafar became the first female director of the Pakistan Cricket Board on November 10. She has been appointed as one of the four independent members along with finance executive Javed Kurieshi, economist Asim Wajid Jawad, and corporate executive Arif Saeed. The decision was taken after PCB's new constitution made the inclusion of at least one woman in the Board of Governors mandatory.
