Maharashtra Government Plans To Reopen Temples After Diwali
The Maharashtra government has decided to reopen places of worship in the state after Diwali. CM Uddhav Thackray said he had delayed the reopening keeping the health concerns and well-being of senior citizens, who visited these places frequently, in mind. About criticisms, the CM stated that he would bear the brunt for the welfare of Maharashtra. However, CM Thackeray stressed the need of following COVID-19 protocols while visiting the places.
