KT Rama Rao To Inaugurate LB Nagar Flyover

The Telangana State Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao is slated to inaugurate the LB Nagar RHS flyover. Taking to Twitter, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Minister said, the flyover is 760 meters long and 12 meters wide, with three lanes. It was built at a cost of ₹32 crore and is signal-free for traffic, providing a smooth ride from Vijayawada Highway to Hyderabad at LB Nagar.

Thane's Kopri Bridge All Set For Inauguration: Maharashtra

The Kopri rail overbridge, a Thane-Mumbai connector, is all set to be opened for traffic on February 9. The bridge will be inaugurated today, which is also CM Eknath Shinde's birthday. Taken up in 2018, the Kopri bridge will now have eight-lanes, making travel easier. The construction work was taken in a phased manner, while first phase was completed in 2022 October, the second phase is ready in January-2023.

Central Govt Approves Cable-Cum Bridge Between AP & Telangana

The Central Government approved the pending cable-cum iconic bridge over the Krishna River, between the two states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On October 13, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the same on Twitter, saying the Central Government will approve Rs 1,082.56 crore for the construction, which will be finished in a duration of a period of 30 months, which wil be second largest bridge in India.

Bombay HC Halts Construction Of Uran Bypass Road, Considering Affect On Livelihood Of Fishermen

The 11-meter wide Uran Bypass Road in Uran Koliwada has been halted by Bombay High Court. Maharashtra government was strongly chastised by HC for neglecting to perform an adequate survey before embarking on the project, despite the fact that it would harm the livelihood of fishermen. The petition was brought by 134 fishermen who used the site for fishing. The petitioners claim the bypass will jeopardize their customary fishing rights.
