Major Bureaucratic Rejig in Rajasthan; Govt Shuffles 288 Officials
In a big bureaucratic rejig, the Rajasthan Government on January 5 transferred 288 administrative officers. The list included 77 IAS and IPS officers, 28 officers from the Indian Forest Services and 183 from the Rajasthan Administrative Services. Reshuffling the Churu, Baran and Jhalawar district collectors, the order reshuffled 14 districts' Superintendents of Police. Moreover, the Range IGs of Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota and Bharatpur were changed.
