Trump Creates Record After Losing US Presidential Elections
Even though the POTUS Donald Trump lost the 2020 US Presidential Elections to Joe Biden, he still managed to create a record, albeit an unwanted one. With this defeat, Trump became the first US president in the last 30 years to concede the elections after serving just one term. Last time, it was another Republican, George H.W. Bush, who lost to Democrat Bill Clinton in the 1992 US Elections. Clinton served two terms as the US President till 2000. After this, Republican George W Bush secured the White House in 2000 and retained it for his second consecutive term that lasted till 2008. Following Bush Jr, Democrat Barack Obama had also served two consecutive terms by winning the 2008 and the 2012 presidential race. Interestingly, the US law does not allow a third term in the office for any President in the country.
