4,000-Yr-Old Rock Excavated In France; Probably Oldest 3D Map In Europe
A 4000-year-old stone, believed to be the oldest three-dimensional map in Europe, has been unearthed by archaeologists in France. Known as 'Saint-Belec Slab', the 2.2mtrX1.5mtr stone exhibits the engravings of Odet River and the surrounding places. Interestingly, the slab was earlier found in 1900 from a prehistoric burial ground but was lost later. Dating back to the early Bronze Age, the stone was excavated from a Paris museum in 2014.
