After Punjab, Rajasthan Assembly Introduces Farm Bills to Nullify Centre's Farm Laws
Amid farmers protest, Rajasthan government placed three bills in State Assembly to nullify the Centre’s farm law. On the first day of Assembly session minister Shanti Dhariwal introduced the bills. The development came after CM Ashok Gehlot had earlier said Rajasthan will stand with Punjab in bypassing ‘anti farmer laws'. Congress had also asked the CMs of states ruled by the party to pass their laws in assembly to negate Centre's law.

Former Haryana CM Opposes Anti-Farmer Bills Put Forth By Centre
Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, on September 16, claimed the three bills put forward by the Centre as "anti-farmer." "Congress would necessitate a special session at the assembly to address the issues concerning the bills and it's ordinances," said Hooda. He also said if the government proceeds to "force its decision on farmers, the black laws will be abolished as soon as the Congress government is formed in the state."
