After the Supreme Court verdict, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Government alerted for a big reshuffle of the cabinet, and topmost officials in the government. The announcement of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal came hours after the verdict, which ruled out the Governor's order of not having Delhi government's involvement in service power. " Assuring of 10-times development, Kejriwal said, "Very big administrative reshuffle will take place."

After being summoned by the CBI in the Delhi Excise Policy Scam, Arvind Kejriwal took a dig at the agency. In a statement, the AAP President and Delhi CM Kejriwal said, If I pay Rs 1,000 crores to PM Narendra Modi will you arrest him. kejriwal further said, "Every day they arrest someone. The arrestees are tortured, mentally as well." He alleged central agency to play against Sisodia and him.

The Gujarat High Court set aside a order directing the Gujarat university to show the degrees and education qualification of PM Narendra Modi, saying such information are not needed. The court also fined Arvind Kejriwal, who demanded to see degrees of Rs 25,000. Manish Sisodia, who recently resigned as the Deputy CM of Delhi, took a dig at the BJP-led Central Government. BJP leaders and workers staged a protest outside the Aam Aadmi Party headquarters in Delhi, on February 4. The protest was said to be in the view of ongoing Delhi Liquor Scam, which involved Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, AAP leaders and prestigious businessmen from Hyderabad and Delhi, Haryana. Recently, the ED filed a chargesheet stating the AAP allegedly used Delhi Liquor scam money for Goa elections campaign.
