Victoria State To Host Australian Open Warm-up Games
Owing to the COVID-19 situation, Tennis Australia has decided to stage the Australian Open warm-up events in Victoria state. The decision, announced by the tournament director Craig Tiley, aims to reduce risks for overseas players while travelling and isolating. Roger Federer Confirmed For Australian Open 2021
CEO of Tennis Australia, Craig Tiley, informed, on October 4, that Roger Federer will take part in the Australian Open 2021. According to reports, Federer had encountered a knee injury after the Australian Open 2020 and had to undergo two surgeries, owing to which he was unable to take part in major sporting events. Reportedly, the organizers of the Australian Open have started preparations for the event to be held in January 2021.
