Tokyo Olympics: P.V. Sindhu Lost Semi-Finals; To Fight For Bronze

World Champion P.V. Sindhu lost the Women's Single Badminton Semi-final to the Taiwanese badminton player Tai Tzu Ying 18-21, 12-21 in 40 minutes at the Tokyo Olympics. P.V. Sindhu will face Chinese badminton player Bingjiao on August 1 for the bronze medal. Besides, Sindhu qualified for the semi-final on July 30 after defeating Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi in the quarterfinals.

Tokyo Olympics: PV Sindhu Enters Semi-Finals Of Women's Badminton Singles

World champion and star Indian badminton player P.V. Sindhu has made her way into the semi-finals of the Women's Badminton Singles at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Sindhu staged at setting two points in the second game hence defeating Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi 21-13, 22-20. Besides, she will be either playing against Taiwan’s Tai Tzu Ying or Thailand’s Ratchanok Inathon in the semi-finals.
