Ahead of his Bangladesh visit on March 26 and 27, PM Narendra Modi on March 17 paid homage to the founder of Bangladesh, 'Bangabandhu' Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Calling him a hero for Indians, Modi said, "It will be my honour to visit Bangladesh later this month for the historic #MujibBorsho celebrations." External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also paid his tributes to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and cited him as an inspiration to millions.
