Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport Awarded 'Best Regional Airport In India & South Asia' Title
The Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore has bagged the title of 'Best Regional Airport in India and South Asia', in the 2022 Skytrax World Airport Awards. The award has been given after a global survey of air passengers voting for Bangalore airport (BLR), crediting it for having the "best customer service". BLR took to Twitter to thank the passengers who voted.

Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport was recognised as the ''Best Airport Staff'' in India and Central Asia by the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2021 on August 21. Celebrating the occasion, the CEO of the Airport, Hari Marar said, ''A big thank you to all our passengers who appreciated our hard work.'' Earlier, the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi won the award for ''best airport'' in India.
