CPCB Penalise Coke, Pepsi, Bisleri For Flouting Plastic Disposal Norm
The Central Pollution Control Board has exacted penalties from Coke and Pepsi and bottled-water manufacturer Bisleri for infringing governmental obligations concerning plastic waste collection-disposal. Reportedly, the companies had violated filing statutory returns under extended producer responsibility (EPR).
