Suicide Bomb Explosion Kills 6 In NE DR Congo: Christmas

In the northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, a suicide bomber killed six people on December 25 at around 7 pm. The explosion took place in a bar in the city of Beni when the victims were celebrating Christmas. "Loss of life is reported. The security services are already deployed," tweeted Patrick Muyaya, a Congolese government spokesperson. The city mayor has urged the people to stay at home.

Bomb Goes Off Near High School In Kabul; No Casualities Confirmed

A blast occurred near a high school on November 30 in Afghanistan's capital Kabul. The explosion took place near Habibieh High School on Aman road. The school is located in the south-western area of Kabul. A spokesman for the Kabul Police Command, General Mobin confirmed this news to the TOLO news. He further said that no casualties have been reported. However, several people have sustained injuries, as per sources.

Train Derails Due To Blast On Tracks In Jharkhand's Dhanbad Division

Owing to a blast in Jharkhand's Dhanbad division, a section of a railway track between Garwa Road and Barkana section got damaged on the early morning of November 20. ''Explosion by a miscreant led to the derailment of diesel loco by 2 wheels,'' said Rajesh Kumar, CPRO, ECR. No reports of injury or casualty are reported so far. The explosion reportedly was planted by a member of Naxal groups.

Afghanistan: Some Civilians Died In A Bomb Blast At Eidgah Mosque In Kabul

The Taliban spokesman, on October 3, said a bomb targeted at the entrance of the Eidgah mosque exploded in Kabul, leaving a number of civilians dead. A memorial service was being held in the Eidgah Mosque for the mother of Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid at that time. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack. However, attacks by Islamic State group militants against them have increased.

Bomb Goes Off On Vehicle In Afghanistan; Atleast 8 Dead

A bomb-filled vehicle blasted at Jalalabad, which is situated at Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, on September 25 at 8 AM. Reportedly, the explosion took place near the Siraj-ul-Emarat garden. It is believed that eight people including, officials, soldiers and civilians could have been killed in the blast. As per an update from Ariana News, the survivors were rushed to a hospital. Further investigation on the matter is underway.

60-Year-Old Women Gang-Raped; Approaches SC For Justice

Post poll violence in West Bengal, several women have approached the SC for justice. A 60-year-old women has accused the TMC workers for being allegedly gang-raped in-front of her six-year-old grand son. As per her statement, five TMC workers barged into her house on May 3, looted valuable objects and threatened her to bomb. However, she also alleged that the local police refused to record her complaint.

Blast In Afghan's Faryab Kills Five Policemen Including District Chief

A roadside bomb blast in Afghanistan's Faryab which took place on November 18 killed at least 5 people which include the police chief of Qaramqul district, Safar Mohammad Bidar. However, no terrorist organisation has taken the responsibility of the blast. Faryab Police spokesperson, Abdul Karim Yourish said that the blast occurred when the police chief was on his way to help the security forces who were under attack of Taliban.

IED Explosion In Kabul Kills Two Policeman, Severely Injures One

A bomb explosion in a police van, on November 11, killed two policemen and severely injured another in the Khair Khana area of Kabul, Afghanistan. Going by the statement of Kabul Police spokesman Ferdaus Faramarz, the incident took place in the morning around 6:30 am when a police ranger type van exploded by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). However, no one has taken responsibility for the explosion so far.
