Branch Change

The officials of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on October 10 announced that incoming students for the year 2020-21 will not have the option to change the branch. Previously, around 10% students were allowed to change their branches based on their CGPA in the first semester. However, the students pursuing B.Tech will be able to upgrade the course to five-year dual degree (B Tech + M Tech).
