Breaking! Mobile, Broadband Internet Resumes In Manipur
After months of internet suspension, the Manipur Government on July 25, resumed internet and broadband services. The internet was shutdown in the violence-hit Manipur since March 16, after a fight between the Kuki-Meitei community over scheduled tribe status. However, the Government resumed the internet with certain conditions. The Government also assured a better situation and under control situation.

Union Govt Approves Rs 26,000 Crore For 25,000 Mobile Towers Installation
The Telecom Minister of India Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that PM Modi-led Central Government approved Rs 26,000 crores for the installation of 25,000 mobile towers in 500 days. Tata Sky Introduces Several Offers On Broadband Connections
Tata Sky announced offers, discounts and free landline connection for its broadband customers after the company brought a change in its policies. As per the new plan, users can get a one-year broadband connection with a speed of 300 Mb/s at Rs 15,600. The half-year and quarter-year plans are priced at Rs 8400 and Rs 4500 respectively. However, its budget and lesser speed plans start from Rs 950 per month.
