Pakistani Intruder Shot Down By BSF, Incident Happened Ahead Of I-Day
In Punjab's Pathankot region, near border, the BSF troops shot down a Pakistani intruder. The incident happened on August 14, ahead of the 76th Independence Day in India. As per the sources, the intruder was attempting to cross the Wagah Border, despite warnings from the BSF troops, the person continued to cross the border, following which the army shot him down. The open firing was said to be under self-defence.

BSF Troops Shot Down Pakistani Smuggler In Jammu & Kashmir
On the intervening night of 24-25 July, the vigilant BSF troops neutralised a Pakistani smuggler while he was trying to smuggle Narcotics through the Ramgarh border area. Giving details on the encounter, PRO BSF Jammu told ANI that four packets of suspected Narcotics (weighing approx 4 kgs) were found along with the body of the Pakistani smuggler. A further search of the area is in progress.
