Tripura Govt Gives Approval To Build Buddhist University In Sabroom

In Manu Bankul of Tripura's Sabroom, a Buddhist university will be built as the state government gave its approval for the same, said officials on December 11. According to PTI, It'll provide opportunities to students from 31 different countries, as well as help research on Buddhist literature, culture, and tradition. PM Modi Suggests Creating Library To Conserve Buddhist Literature

PM Modi has proposed creating a Buddhist library to help the research and dialogue process between India and Japan. Speaking at the sixth India-Japan Samvad Conference, PM Modi has recommended collecting traditional Buddhist literature and scriptures across the world and make it available for Monks and scholars.  He added that the translated documents and research would help to tackle modern problems through the principles of Buddhism.
