The third member of NASA's 1969 Apollo 11 Moon mission, astronaut Michael Collins, passed away on April 28 at the age of 90 after a long battle with cancer. Collins, who flew with partners Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, was pilot of the command module. Ironically, he never set his foot on the Moon.
