Spanish shuttler Carolina Marin has dropped out of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to her knee injury. Marin torn her left knee's anterior cruciate ligament along with both meniscus. The three-time world champion said, “It won't be possible. I know that I am in safe hands and have a lot of people by my side.” Marin defeated India’s PV Sindhu in the gold medal match at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
