In Maharashtra's Latur district, the excise department busted illegal liquor manufacturing units and seized materials worth Rs 35 lakh, on April 6. On April 5, the excise department conducted raids in Sidharth Nagar locality of Chakur and Malewadi road in Ahmedpur. According to Superintendent Ganesh Bagarje, the authorities have seized materials worth over Rs 35.4 lakh, and have seized boxes of illegal liquors and labels.
