Club World Cup

Football regulatory body FIFA has announced that 2021 Club World Cup edition would be hosted by Japan in December. As per reports, the postponed 2020 edition of the World Cup will also occur in February at Qatar. Due to the pandemic, the games in the tournament will not adopt a new 24-team format. Earlier, Japan has hosted the tournament eight times before the announcement of the current edition.
