British Era Bridge Over Bahumuda River Collapses In AP
A colonial-era bridge over the Bahuda River collapsed in the Srikakulam region of Andhra Pradesh. The incident occurred when a granite-laden lorry carrying 70 tonnes of granite, was passing through, resulting in the collapse. In the major accident, two people reportedly got injured. The collapse of the British era bridge raised alarming safety concerns, following which the authority has launched an investigation.
