CBSE XII Board Exam: Students Claim Physical Exam As Unconstitutional
As many as 1,152 students approached the Supreme Court to cancel CBSE private or compartmental exams and requested to adopt the evaluation formula similar to regular students. However, the plea says, the decision would risk the life of students, also violate the 'right to life and health' under Article 21 of the constitution. Besides, the applicants said, the current situation is not favourable to conduct any kind of physical examination.

CBSE Allows Class 10, 12 Students To Improvise Marks In One Subject
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will let students undertaking board exams enhance scores in one subject through compartment exams now programmed immediately after the main exams. Reportedly, the final results based on the best of two marks will arrive on combined mark sheets. ICSE, ISC Compartement Exam to Start from October 6
The ICSE and ISC compartment and improvement exams will be held from October 6 as announced by The Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CICSCE). The board added that the result will be declared on October 17. Candidates will have to return their previous mark sheets to the school to receive a new one. Unsuccessful students will be given opportunity to clear next year. However, the same does not hold true for absentees.
