In the United States, a couple on vacation had to pay a huge sum of  $29,994 (approximately Rs 24 lakhs, instead of the expected $55 (Rs 4,500). Getting into the details, Douglas Ordonez and his partner Dominique were in Costa Rica to celebrate their fifth anniversary but left with a negative balance. Sharing the bank statement, Ordonez said, "Now I'm in Guatemala with a negative balance on my 5-year anniversary.
