The CBI has raided atleast 14 locations across Delhi, Mumbai and Karnataka, including the residence of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D K Shivakumar. Reportedly, the raids began at around 6 AM on October 5 in Kanakpura, Bangalore. The raids were conducted in connection with an alleged corruption case. However, senior Congress leaders have condemned the act calling them as "politically motivated by BJP".
