Delhi Zoo To Reopen For Public From March 1

The Delhi zoo authorities informed that the National Zoological Park is all set to reopen from March 1, with an online ticket system. Amid the rise in Covid-19 cases, on January 5, the zoo was shut down. Now, following the strict Covid-19 guidelines Delhi zoo will reopen. The National Zoological Park of Delhi is a great attraction for tourists to see varied species of reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Delhi Zoo Reopens After An Year, Witness 1,600 Visitors On Day 1

Delhi’s National Zoological Park on April 1 witnessed over 1600 visitors as it reopened after being shut for almost a year due to the pandemic. Zoo director Ramesh Pandey informed that 483 tickets worth Rs 1.18 lakh were sold as the visitors came in two shifts. Ensuring social distancing and opening more entry points, the officials are also assessing captive animals' reactions on seeing people after over a year.
