Japan's New PM Fumio Kishida Set To Announce General Election
After taking charge as the new Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida is reportedly ready to dissolve the current parliament and will call an election for October 31. The 64-year-old Kishida, a former foreign minister, defeated three contenders last week to lead the ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
