district good governance index

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on January 22, launched "Good Governance Index" for 20 districts in Jammu and Kashmir. While launching, Shah said, the index will soon release in all states, aiming development of Indian districts and good competition in a mechanic way. As of now, the Union Territory of J&K is the first to have such index. The virtual launch event was attended by J&K Governor Manoj Sinha.
