Drones To Monitor Lockdown In China, Restrictions Escalated
In an attempt to monitor lockdown instructions, China government has deployed 60 police-run drones in the southern part of Guangzhou city. The drones are equipped with cameras and broadcasts messages to people requesting them to stay back at their homes. However, the number of COVID cases in the city has crossed 100, making it a concern for authorities. Moreover, several restrictions have been raised including ban on travel.

BSF Foils Pakistan's Drone Intrusions Into Indian Territory In Jammu
The Border Security Forces personnel on April 24 detected two drones crossing International border from Pakistan after which they opened fire forcing them to return to Pakistan side. Spotted hovering in Jabbowal and Vikram border outpost areas in Arnia sector of Jammu, the BSF jawans fired around 15-rounds to bring them down. Notably, Pakistan has been using drones to drop weapons and drugs in the Indian territory.

IIT-Roorkee Starts Drone Research Centre, Gets 100L+ Fund From Alumni
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has started a special Centre for Drone Research. The centre will focus on drone development, drone applications, and anti-drone technology. Airbus Partners With Flytech Aviation Academy To Train Drone Pilots
European aerospace MNC Airbus has collaborated with Hyderabad-based Flytech Aviation Academy to train drone pilots in India.
