Economic Policy

Chairman of Trident Group Rajinder Gupta, has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the State Economic Policy and Planning Board. The government of Punjab made the appointment, which has come into immediate effect. Gupta will hold the office for a tenure of three years. Notably, Gupta was awarded 'Padma Shree' in 2007, which is one of the highest civilian honours in the country.
